Skopje, 18 July 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Justice Igor Filkov and Italian Ambassador Andrea Silvestri concurred at a working meeting on Thursday that Italy remains a partner and strong supporter in the European integration process, the Ministry of Justice said in a press release. 

Ambassador Silvestri wished Minister Filkov success in his post, while discussing about promoting the successuf cooperation between the two countries so far, as well as possibilities to exchange experiences. 

"The bilateral cooperation between the Italian National Anti-Corruption Authority and the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption, as well as the support in the area of law, is particularly significant," reads the press release. 

Minister Filkov, the press release adds, reaffirmed the benefits of the excellent and friendly relations between the two countries, which will intensify in the coming period.
