Skopje, 7 December 2023 (MIA) – The extradition request for Ljupcho Palevski – Palcho will be sent today, both through email and through our Embassy, and I believe that after they receive our request, we will also directly communicate with the Turkish Minister of Justice, said Justice Minister Krenar Lloga in a media statement Thursday.

Lloga said he believes that a positive response will shortly follow.

“Turkey is a strategic partner to Macedonia on many other, far more important issues than this. I believe that in a relatively short time we will receive a positive response and the suspect will be brought here,” said Lloga.

Regarding the timeframe, the Justice Minister said it is uncertain, because it depends on how much use Palevski makes of the legal mechanisms for appeal.
