European Affairs Minister Murtezani meets new Bulgarian Ambassador Radukov

Skopje, 22 October 2024 (MIA) – Minister of European Affairs, Orhan Murtezani met Tuesday newly appointed Bulgarian Ambassador to North Macedonia, Zhelyazko Radukov.
According to the Ministry of European Affairs, Murtezani expressed hope for successful parliamentary elections in Bulgaria, seeing them as a crucial step for advancing bilateral relations by fostering mutual trust.
He underscored the government’s strong commitment to the European agenda and its proactive measures to find a dignified solution regarding the fulfilment of the necessary conditions to speed up North Macedonia’s path to full membership in the European Union.
Murtezani and Radukov underlined the importance of consolidating mutual trust and cooperation, particularly within the Euro-integration process, which should be regarded as a common strategic priority. They also highlighted the commitment to constructive and transparent dialogue aimed at improving good neighbourly relations and addressing shared challenges in the spirit of cooperation and partnership.
