EU Ambassador Geer visits Dojran
Gevgelija, 6 August 2021 (MIA) – Head of the EU Delegation to North Macedonia, Ambassador David Geer went on a work visit to Dojran on Friday. At the meeting with Mayor Ango Angov, he was informed about the implementation of EU-funded projects. During the visit, Ambassador Geer and Mayor Angov walked through the city park, which has been horticulturally arranged, and they visited the open summer stage, as projects realized through EU’s financial aid. “We spoke to Ambassador Geer about continuing the current successful cooperation and adding future projects that will be defined as priority to begin with, and then they will be realized for a more beautiful and modern Dojran,” Mayor Angov said. Angov and Geer agreed that Dojran, as leader in utilizing EU funding, should continue working at an even larger scale and to use the EU’s funds even more intensely. The horticultural setup of the central part of the Old Dojran summer resort was realized on a surface area of 36,000 m2. dk/ba/
