Skopje, 25 April 2023 (MIA) - The Government adopted Tuesday the report on the status of project for lease of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in the Greek port city of Alexandroupolis.

The Government has tasked Power Plants of North Macedonia (ESM) with registering legal entities in Greece and Bulgaria, which are needed for operations related to the gas procurement, distribution and trade.

ESM is in charge of the transport of natural gas through the Bulgaria interconnector until the completion of the Greece interconnector construction, the Government said in a press release.
