Skopje, 11 April 2023 (MIA) - Power Plants of North Macedonia (ESM) produced 474,967 MWh of electricity in March, which represents a 36-percent increase compared to the same month in 2022, the company said on Tuesday.

In period January-March, ESM produced 44 percent more electricity compared to the same period in 2022 and 61.8 percent more than in 2021.

Electricity procurement has significantly dropped due to the increased production, with no purchases recorded in March because ESM fully met the requirements of all capacities.
