Skopje, 31 October 2021 (MIA) – The Interior Ministry so far hasn’t registered serious incidents during voting, which overall is peaceful, MoI spokesperson Toni Angelovski told a press conference. Three incidents were reported at polling stations by 11 am, he added, two in Kichevo and one Tetovo, involving destruction of election materials, photographing ballots and attempting to vote without proper identification documents. The Interior Ministry also received reports of attempts at agitation in Kochani and Kratovo, but they are yet to be confirmed. MoI spokesperson Toni Angelovski called on voters and election stakeholders to refrain from further incidents. Moreover, he urged citizens to report any voting irregularities via phone on 192 or at the nearest police station.
