Eight Skopje schools report new bomb threats
Skopje, 2 November 2022 (MIA) – Two more Skopje schools received bomb threats on Wednesday, after the Ministry of Interior said earlier that six schools have received bomb threats.
Around 2:30pm on Wednesday, the Skopje Police received a report that six Skopje schools were sent bomb threats by email, said the MoI, adding that around 3pm the Skopje Police received a report about a similar threat sent to the emails of two more schools.
Immediately after the report was received, measures were taken by police officers to safely evacuate all eight schools.
Anti-terror checks are currently underway and measures are being taken to clear up the case, said the MoI.
Last week, several Skopje schools reported receiving bomb threats three days in a row, police checks determined the threats to be false. ad/nn/
