EasyJet to launch Geneva-Skopje flight
Skopje, 3 September 2021 (MIA) – British low-cost airliner EasyJet is set to launch flights from Geneva to Skopje on November 1. They will run three times per week, on Monday, Thursday and Friday. Airport operator TAV Macedonia said in a press release on Friday that flights are seasonal and will run through March 25, 2022. “Tickets are being sold via the EasyJet website https://www.easyjet.com/en, starting at Mden 1,476 for a one-way ticket,” the release read. Moreover, the airport operator expressed satisfaction that EasyJet is entering the Macedonian market, despite the global crisis in the sector brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic and air travel restrictions still enforced in many countries. The Skopje International Airport offers two other flights to Switzerland, mainly to Zurich and Basel.
