Skopje, 30 December 2025 (MIA) - An earthquake measuring 2.8 was registered late Monday at 10:06 pm, with the epicenter in the Peshtani-Ohrid-Struga area, around 103 km southwest of Skopje, according to the Seismological Observatory within the Skopje-based Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.

According to preliminary data from the Observatory, the earthquake was felt in Ohrid and the nearby area with an intensity of IV on the European Macroseismic Scale.
