DUI's Central Presidency session resumes

Tetovo, 1 April 2023 (MIA) - The Central Presidency of the Democratic Union for Integration (DUI) continues the session today which started last Saturday.

Before the beginning of the session, upon arriving at the party headquarters in Mala Recica, Tetovo, the spokesperson Bujar Osmani reiterated that today there will be given an opportunity for a debate on issues regarding the party's work raised by members of the so-called "Fiery Group".

When asked by journalists whether Musa Xhaferi was fired yesterday from the position of the first person of the supervisory board, Osmani said that today all issues will be discussed.

Izet Mexhiti, who is member of the so-called "Fiery Group”, said that this is an important session for intra party action.

“I think it is a very important day, when DUI should demonstrate their capacities. Not yesterday, there were dismissals during the week. I believe the conflict between the two groups will be resolved today. I will inform you after the meeting,” he said.

The turmoil within DUI party began in September 2022, after the so-called "Fiery Group" demanded reforms in the party. A new DUI’s management was also elected in October.
