DUI holds Central Council meeting, elects new presidency
Tetovo, 15 October 2022 (MIA) – The Democratic Union for Integration (DUI) held on Saturday a meeting of its Central Council, which was also attended by members of the so-called “Fiery Group”. DUI leader Ali Ahmeti chaired Saturday’s meeting.
Izet Mexhiti, Arber Ademi, Bajram Rexhepi and Arbana Pasholi were elected vice-presidents of the party. Blerim Bexheti was elected organizational secretary, Faton Ahmeti as secretary general, and Saranda Imeri as secretary for equal opportunities.
Ali Ahmeti, Ramiz Merko, Jeton Shaqiri, Fatmir Dehari, Kreshnik Bekteshi, Talat Xhaferi, Nevzat Bejta, Valdet Xhaferi, Teuta Arifi, Xhevat Ademi, Artan Grubi, Bujar Osmani, Visar Ganiu, Nazim Bushi, Ejup Halimi, Arian Daci, Besnik Emshiu, Mirsad Ibraimi, Ardita Dani, Bilent Sali, Resi Abdurahmani, Shergil Bekiri, Shaban Memeti, Artin Spahiu, and Emir Sulejmani will be part of the Central Council.
DUI leader Ali Ahmeti proposed Musa Xhaferi, Bekim Neziri, Juamin Sinani, Zenun Matjani, Memet Selami, Shukri Masurica, and Nedim Ramizi as members of the Supervisory Council.
Talat Xhaferi called for adding 11 more members, but Musa Xhaferi immediately opposed this proposal. Talat Xhaferi’s proposal wasn’t accepted, as the majority didn’t vote for it, after which he left the meeting.
