DUI: Green agenda is plan for Tetovo’s future
Tetovo, 14 October 2021 (MIA) – The Democratic Union for Integration (DUI) held Thursday a rally in Tetovo and promoted mayor candidate Teuta Arifi, who is running for a third term.
Arifi said the green agenda is the plan for the city’s future, including projects for gasification, sewerage and a new theatre.
“Over the past eight years, we have constructed a boulevard where there was none, we set up a system of public services where there was none, we rehabilitated all schools and kindergartens, and we did all of this together. We will continue where we left off in the next four years, we are moving from a freedom agenda to a green agenda. This is a war with our mentality, a war for change, a war for funds to implement this agenda,” said Arifi.
DUI leader Ali Ahmeti said his life is made of two chapters – the Ohrid Framework Agreement and the green agenda.
“I realized the first one with the help of many associates, an unforgettable chapter for me and all those who made history. This second one requires studies and people, something we have both on a national and local level. Teuta has the experience to realize this agenda in the next four years. We all stand behind Teuta in DUI’s new chapter,” added Ahmeti.
