Tetovo, 13 January 2026 (MIA) — The Democratic Union for Integration decided at a meeting earlier Tuesday that its leader Ali Ahmeti will attend the leaders meeting Prime Minister and VMRO-DPMNE president Hristijan Mickoski scheduled for Wednesday. 

According to DUI spokeswoman Arta Zendeli Bilalli, participants in the two and a half hour party meeting reached a unanimous decision that the party leader should represent the party at the leaders meeting.

In response to reporters' questions about what positions Ahmeti would take at the leaders meeting, the spokeswoman said the decision was his to make.

"It remains the exclusive right of the party president to decide, during the meeting, how to conduct the conversation," she said. mr/
