Skopje, 22 June 2022 (MIA) – Democratic Union (DS) secretary-general and Deputy-Minister of Local Self-Government Zoran Dimitrovski said Wednesday the party would leave the Government if the French proposal was accepted. “In short, yes. That is why I encourage the PM to say ‘no’ to this proposal when he goes to Brussels. If he says ‘yes’ and if the negotiating framework is approved and we hold the first intergovernmental conference and take photos, DS will leave the Government,” Dimitrovski told Telma TV. He says that as coalition partners, they did not have any details about the proposal, which he labels as the worst on record, except for the part on the language. Earlier, Minister of Local Self-Government and LDP leader Goran Milevski also said he will leave the Government if the French proposal is accepted.
