Skopje, 1 November 2021 (MIA) – DPA will remain in the ruling government coalition, said the party leader Menduh Thaci ahead of Monday’s meeting of SDSM’s coalition partners following the resignation of PM Zoran Zaev, which was announced yesterday. I see no reason for anything dramatic to happen, he told reporters. “They want to change the subject. Sunday’s were local elections. Talking about legitimacy of the government, the current government has legitimacy in these elections, it has so much more votes than the opposition,” Thaci said. I don’t expect anything, he said, whether we’ll divide into Albanian or Macedonian opposition or we’ll remain government and opposition. “The difference is over 100,000 votes in these elections comparing the government and the opposition.”
