Skopje, 13 May 2023 (MIA) — The water level of Lake Dojran has dropped by one centimeter and the levels of Lake Ohrid and Lake Prespa are the same as yesterday, according to the latest measurements by the National Hydrometeorological Service.

Compared to its May average, however, Lake Dojran's level is 1.89 m higher.

The levels of Lake Prespa and Lake Ohrid are lower than their May averages. Lake Prespa’s level is 2 m below its May average and Lake Ohrid's level is 24 cm below its May average.

Measuring the country's river levels, the National Hydrometeorological Service found higher daily readings than their May averages at most benchmark measuring points, although many of the rivers' levels are slightly lower than yesterday. mr/
