Skopje, 4 May 2024 (MIA) - The distribution of the confidential voting materials for the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections on May 8 is under way, the State Election Commission (SEC) told MIA on Saturday. 

Bitola's Kiro Dandaro printing house has handed over the confidential voting materials to be distributed across the country. The SEC expects the distribution to be completed by the end of the day. 

"The teams are on the ground, a total of about 3,600,000 ballots are to be distributed. No problems have been detected in the distribution of the voting materials so far," the SEC said. 

A total of 1,814,317 citizens are eligible to vote in the presidential runoff, and a total of 1,815,350 citizens are eligible to vote in the parliamentary elections.
