Kichevo, 13 April 2024 (MIA) - I will never agree with constitutional changes that put the president's election in the hands of the Parliament not the citizens, said ZNAM presidential candidate Maksim Dimitrievski in Kichevo on Saturday.
Dimitrievski said a real multiethnic society of equal rights and equal obligations is what the country needs.
"Citizens give power to the president, and political parties take away this power and put him on the sidelines. Macedonia deserves a president who comes from the citizens and cares for the citizens. If you believe you should support those who go round in circles for 30 years but fail to think about the citizens and the national interests, then do this. But I believe the current authorities and the ones preceding them should be punished. There is an option to vote 'for' not 'against' for the first time on record - vote for ZNAM," said Dimitrievski.
The ZNAM presidential candidate is also set to visit Demir Hisar, Krivogashtani and Prilep later in the day.
