Dimitrievski in Strumica: We witnessed KLA chants in Skopje, while entire political elite remains silent
- At yesterday's rally in Skopje, we experienced flags of foreign nations being waved at us and chants of the KLA, while our entire political elite, both in power and opposition, remained silent, not daring to utter a word. This is the cost of power and position, strategizing for votes in the second round, while sacrificing integrity. But Maksim won't allow that, ZNAM Movement presidential candidate Maksim Dimitrievski, said Monday evening at a rally in Strumica.
Strumica, 22 April 2024 (MIA) - At yesterday's rally in Skopje, we experienced flags of foreign nations being waved at us and chants of the KLA, while our entire political elite, both in power and opposition, remained silent, not daring to utter a word. This is the cost of power and position, strategizing for votes in the second round, while sacrificing integrity. But Maksim won't allow that, ZNAM Movement presidential candidate Maksim Dimitrievski, said Monday evening at a rally in Strumica.
He conveyed to the leader of DUI, Ali Ahmeti that regrettably, he hasn't changed at all since 2001.
“And that's why I'll say this: Mr. Ahmeti, we want to build a beautiful and positive history for the Macedonian people and all the communities living in the country. We want to see Macedonia where it belongs - in the Euro-Atlantic alliance, but at the same time, respecting our dignity, integrity, Macedonian language, culture, continuity, distinctiveness, our own history, and everything that is Macedonian. Because this Republic of Macedonia, whatever they call it, was built by our ancestors, the Macedonians, and if we depended on the desires of others around us, we wouldn't have our own independent state. And believe me, we will defend it with words and with actions if necessary,” Dimitrievski said.
At the rally in Strumica, Mile Cekov, the list principal in the fourth election district of the ZNAM Movement, also addressed Strumica rally.
Presidential candidate Dimitrievski also visited Vasilevo, Bosilovo, Novo Selo, and Radovish on Monday.
