Deputy PM Nikoloski meets German Ambassador Drexler, presents infrastructure development plans

Skopje, 24 September 2024 (MIA) - Deputy PM and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski met Tuesday with German Ambassador Petra Drexler, discussing current economic and political affairs in the country and the region, as well as the Government's investment programme in the infrastructure sector.
Minister Nikoloski briefed Ambassador Drexler with the Government's infrastructure development plans and the idea for networking of the country and the region with countries of Central Europe, the Ministry of Transport said in a press release.
Interlocutors reaffirmed the excellent bilateral relations, with the host highlighting the importance of friendly and partnership ties.
Nikoloski said Germany is a strong supporter of Macedonia's development, noting that the Government is committed to European integration and implementation of reforms. He also voiced readiness for intensification of bilateral cooperation in various fields of mutual interest, reads the press release.
