Skopje, 6 October 2023 (MIA) - Deputy PM for Economic Affairs Fatmir Bytyqi met Friday with a delegation of several leading Chinese companies, led by Chinese Ambassador to North Macedonia, Zhang Zuo, presenting the investment opportunities in North Macedonia.

Deputy PM Bytyqi pointed out that the Government offers all foreign investors legally grounded and transparent support measures for start-up businesses and strong institutional support for the investments, the Government said in a press release.

He also emphasized the country’s appealing economic environment, noting that North Macedonia has a strategic position in Europe, with a developed infrastructure that allows fast transport and access to European markets.

Technological Industrial Development Zones (TIDZ) Director Jovan Despotovski also attended the meeting and presented the investment opportunities within the industrial zones, reads the press release. ssh/ik/
