Deputy PM Bytyqi meets UNDP Resident Representative Sahakyan
Skopje, 15 September 2021 (MIA) – Deputy PM for Economic Affairs Fatmir Bytyqi met Wednesday with UNDP Resident Representative Narine Sahakyan, discussing the launch of the second stage of project “Support to National Development Strategy 2021-2041”.
Bytyqi and Sahakyan also tackled the cooperation between the Government and UN organizations on a potentially new project financed by the UN Sustainable Development Goals Fund that would create new opportunities for green financing and speed up transition towards renewable energy sources and increased energy efficiency, the Deputy PM’s Office said in a press release.
Bytyqi also thanked Sahakyan, whose term expires next month, for her personal and professional engagement in the realization of projects related to the achievement of the sustainable development goals.
He added that the fruitful and constructive cooperation would benefit all citizens of North Macedonia in the future, reads the press release.
