Skopje, 4 October 2022 (MIA) – Deputy PM for Economic Affairs Fatmir Bytyqi met Tuesday with United States Chargé d’Affaires Eric Meyer and the new USAID Country Representative Jeri Dible, focusing on intensification and enhancement of mutual cooperation. USAID has thus far provided significant assistance for entrepreneurship development, improvement of competitiveness, efficiency of public administration and business environment, reforms in the justice sector, fight against corruption etc, the Government said in a press release. It adds that North Macedonia and the United States are stable strategic partners in the common efforts for security, freedom and democratic prosperity in the region.
