Deputy PM Bytyqi meets new Polish Ambassador Grzelczyk

Deputy PM Bytyqi meets new Polish Ambassador Grzelczyk

Skopje, 6 July 2023 (MIA) - Deputy PM for Economic Affairs Fatmir Bytyqi met Thursday with the new Polish Ambassador to North Macedonia, Krzysztof Grzelczyk, discussing possibilities to deepen trade exchange between the two countries, and highlighting preparations for the arrival of a Polish business delegation in the country in September.

Wishing the Ambassador every success in his new mission, Bytyqi noted that North Macedonia and Poland have not fully unlocked the great potential for developing trade exchange, the Deputy PM's office said in a press release.

"Poland is constantly among our 10-15 largest trade partners, but there are still great untapped economic potentials that we have as countries, which requires intensifying economic relations that will result in business opportunities for both sides. I hope this will become more concrete in September when the Polish business delegation arrives," said Bytyqi.

Ambassador Grzelczyk thanked for the meeting, adding that he will be committed to promoting economic cooperation between the two countries.
