Skopje, 22 February 2024 (MIA) – Additional Deputy Minister of Interior Mitko Bojmacaliev said in a Facebook post Thursday that a new shipment of 140.000 passport booklets is en route to the country, and will soon be followed by an additional delivery of 85.000 booklets.

“I would like to inform you that the shipment of 140.000 passport booklets, as I announced, is ready and en route to the Republic of North Macedonia. Additionally, an additional shipment of 85.000 booklets will arrive very soon. With that, as I announced, the figure of 225.000 booklets is being completed. So far, 1.509.600 passport booklets have arrived, with the ones that will arrive tomorrow and by the end of the month this figure will stand at 1.734.600. No one is sabotaging anyone either now or in the past. We are here for our citizens,” wrote Bojmacaliev in the post.
