Skopje, 5 October 2022 (MIA) – The defense cooperation between North Macedonia and the United Kingdom is at the highest level. Both countries continue to actively develop their national capacities, which are also NATO’s capacities, said Minister of Defense, Slavjanka Petrovska and the new British Ambassador to the country, Matthew Lawson, at a meeting Wednesday. Petrovska expressed her gratitude for the support that the United Kingdom has provided thus far, in the form of training of North Macedonia’s NATO unit, donated equipment, as well as long-term advisory assistance in the development of the defense and army capacities. According to the Ministry of Defense, Ambassador Lawson stated that Great Britain remains committed to the cooperation with North Macedonia and the development of the army capacities. ad/ba/
