Defense Minister Misajlovski meets Ukrainian Ambassador Dir

Skopje, 5 July 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Defense Vlado Misajlovski met Friday with Ukrainian Ambassador Larysa Dir and Defense Attaché, Colonel Sergey Katsuba, and called for full support in defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.
"In addition to your steadfast political support, we will be making additional efforts to assist in your struggle. This war must end immediately and be resolved diplomatically," Misajlovski said.
Minister Misajlovski also noted he will strive to intensify cooperation between the two defense ministries, strengthen communication, and that successful cooperation with the Ukrainian Embassy will continue in the future, the Ministry of Defense said in a press release.
Ambassador Dir thanked Misajlovski, the Macedonian Army, citizens, and country for the assistance and support for Ukraine and its people so far. ssh/ik/
