Defense Minister Misajlovski meets Croatian Ambassador Tiganj 

Skopje, 19 July 2024 (MIA) - The shared democratic values and principles, rule of law, freedom, security, as well as the joint allied contribution to regional initiatives aimed at increased regional security and stability were highlighted at a meeting Friday between Defense Minister Vlado Misajlovski and Croatian Ambassador Nives Tiganj. 

According to the Defense Ministry, Minister Misajlovski voiced gratitude over the continued support provided by Croatia on the country’s path to the European Union, as well as the successful cooperation with the Croatian Embassy and Croatia’s contribution in the efforts to combat the forest fires raging across the country. 

At the meeting, Ambassador Tiganj stressed that Croatia remains of the position that the country should be a part of the European family. 

“The cooperation in defense between the two countries is excellent and is continuously being upgraded. Cooperation in the field of military education is being realized by sending members of the Macedonian Army to lessons, training and professionalization at the educational centers in the Republic of Croatia,” the Ministry said.
