Defense Minister meets Dutch and Czech Ambassadors

Skopje, 12 November 2024 (MIA) - Defense Minister Vlado Misajlovski met Tuesday with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Özlem Canel, and Czech Ambassador Jaroslav Ludva.

Minister Misajlovski said the ministry is committed to improving bilateral defense cooperation with NATO ally Netherlands, expressed gratitude for the strong support in the EU integration process, and stressed the importance of allied cooperation as part of cooperative security, crisis management, and collective defense, the Ministry of Defense said in a press release.

Interlocutors discussed opportunities for strengthening defense cooperation, especially the possibility of exploiting the national capacities of both countries in the field of military education, trainings, and joint army exercises.

At the meeting with Ambassador Ludva, Minister Misajlovski thanked the Czech Republic for supporting the Army's defense capacities and the strong support for our country's EU integration process.

Misajlovski and Ludva considered strengthening defense cooperation in various areas with the aim of improving security and strengthening capacities of both countries, reads the press release. ssh/ik/
