Skopje, 26 August 2021 (MIA) –Slovenian Defence Minister and Deputy PM Matej Tonin is set to arrive in North Macedonia on Thursday evening for a two-day official visit hosted by his Macedonian counterpart Radmila Shekerinska. The ministers, North Macedonia’s Defence Ministry said in a press release, will hold a meeting in Ohrid on Friday, as well as bilateral talks at delegation level before signing a donation agreement. After the talks, the ministers are scheduled to give media statements. Then, Shekerinska and her counterpart will visit Berovo and meet with mayor Zvonko Pekevski who will hand the Slovenian Minister a plaque, as a symbol of appreciation for Slovenia’s rapid assistance in fighting wildfires.
