Skopje, 1 September 2025 (MIA) - The deadline for collection of signatures of independent candidates for the October 19 local elections expires on Monday.

By Saturday, 22 candidates were collecting signatures for mayoral nominations, along with 12 lists of independent council members in 11 municipalities, said the State Election Commission (SEC).

The deadline for submission of candidate lists for mayors and council members expires on September 13.
