Skopje, 8 March 2024 (MIA) - The collection of signatures of presidential candidates for the April 24 elections expires at Friday midnight.

State Election Commission (SEC) data shows that seven out of the 15 candidates have already collected the required 10,000 signatures for a presidential bid: Stevo Pendarovski (SDSM), Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova (VMRO-DPMNE), Bujar Osmani (DUI), Arben Taravari (Coalition Worth It), Stevcho Jakimovski (GROM), Maksim Dimitrievski (ZNAM) and Biljana Vankovska Cvetkovska (Levica).

The signature collection process is taking place in 34 SEC offices across the country and before notaries public.
