Day two of Macedonia 2025 Summit: Panels focus on combating corruption, foreign investments, digitalization

Skopje, 16 May 2024 (MIA) – The 13th Macedonia 2025 two-day business summit will wrap up Thursday with panels addressing tackling corruption, strategies for attracting foreign investments, building resilient supply chains, leveraging digital health innovations for enhanced medical services in the region...

The activities kick off with an address by the US Ambassador Angela Aggeler, followed by the first panel titled “Guardians of Integrity: Tackling Government Corruption for a Prosperous Future.”

As part of the Macedonia 2025 Summit, GoDigital - Center for Digital Transformation will sign a memorandum of cooperation with its supporting partners: Macedonia2025, the Swiss Program for Increasing Market Employability, Visa Southeast Europe, and Clearing House-Clearing Interbank Systems AD Skopje.

GoDigital - Center for Digital Transformation is a foundation established in North Macedonia with a view to boosting the digital transformation of the Macedonian economy and businesses. The aim is to help micro, small and medium-sized companies in the country to digitize and transform digitally.

During the opening of the Summit on Wednesday, Macedonia2025 organization emphasized the need for intensive and comprehensive action in the coming period, utilizing all resources, given the country's slow progress and lagging behind in most international rankings and reports. They underscored that the diaspora is extending support and emphasized the importance of focusing on digitization, combating corruption, improving regulations, and establishing stable institutions.

The Summit serves as a regional platform for exchanging experiences, strengthening cooperation, and networking companies from the region and the diaspora.
