We do, truly, utterly want you to become a member, to join us in the European Union and that we are here to help every step of the way, and to support, and we are doing the work. Also, that you are not alone and that we are hearing you, and we see the frustration. I am truly sad that it has been such a long process, and I agree, and I understand the frustration, Marianne Bigum, Green Left MP in the Danish Parliament tells MIA in an interview.

Bigum said that in terms of the Euro-integrations they are looking at the Copenhagen criteria and have not been discussing the need for institutional reforms in the EU.

The focus of Bigum’s interest and work is the green transition both in the EU, in Denmark, but also globally. As an environmental engineer, Bigum has worked a lot with waste and resources, and she underscores that the way we are using the Earth’s resources is unsustainable.
