The undeclared goods were found in a passenger vehicle with foreign license plates.

Asked by the customs officer if he had anything to declare, the driver said he only had personal belongings, but during the customs check the agents found the contraband on and under the back seat of the car and in the trunk, the release says.

The sneakers and the power tools have been temporarily seized and charges have been filed against the driver.
