Customs Administration makes final preparations for one-stop-shop at Kosovo border

Skopje, 19 September 2023 (MIA) - The Customs Administration is preparing for the one-stop-shop at the Blace border crossing with Kosovo, ensuring a faster flow of commodities and people.

Customs Administration director Stefan Bogoev and his deputy Muarem Asani paid a visit to the border crossing on Tuesday, saying the one-stop-shop system improves the competitiveness of Macedonian companies at the international market and ensures legal trade on one hand, while improving conditions for effective prevention of unlawful activities at the border on the other.

"Blace is the second-largest crossing at our northern border, enabling entry into Kosovo and links to Serbia, Montenegro and the Adriatic Sea. Its modernization leads to accelerated trade and transport, and better performances of the Macedonian economy," said Bogoev.
