Croatian Government donates Covid-19 vaccines to Mexico and North Macedonia
Zagreb, 13 October 2022 (MIA) – The Croatian Government decided Thursday to donate Covid-19 vaccines to North Macedonia and the countries that, according to the assessment of the Covax facility, need it most. Of the Pfizer vaccine, 87,750 doses were donated to North Macedonia and 734,400 doses to other states, according to the Covax assessment. The decision does not specify to whom the vaccines are donated through Covax, but according to the report of the Ministry of Health sent to the Croatian Government on October 5, it is evident that it is a donation of the Pfizer vaccine to Mexico. Croatia has so far donated 2,467,820 doses of vaccines. By the end of the year, Croatia will donate another 45,000 doses of Moderna vaccines and 135,360 doses of Pfizer vaccines to Tunisia and 794,400 + 31,200 doses of Johnson & Johnson vaccines to another country through Covax. dk/ik/
