COVID-19: 89 new cases, 87 recoveries, one fatality

Skopje, 13 May 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 89 new COVID-19 infections after 1,221 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. In addition, 87 patients recovered and two died in the same period, the Health Ministry said on Friday.
Of the new cases, 59 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 7, Kavadarci – 4, Ohrid – 3, Delchevo – 3, Kumanovo – 2, Prilep – 2, Shtip – 2, Berovo – 2, Gostivar – 1, Strumica – 1, Kochani – 1, Gevgelija – 1 and Demir Hisar – 1.
One patient died, from Skopje, aged 85.
According to the Covid-diagnosed fatality registry, one person died on April 30.
At the moment, 634 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,035,877 tests, recording 310,684 COVID-19 cases and 300,763 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,289.
