COVID-19: 792 new cases, 317 recoveries
Skopje, 20 July 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded 792 new COVID-19 cases after 1,774 tests were performed in the past 24 hours, no deaths were reported, while 317 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday. Of the new cases, 370 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 62, Kavadarci – 41, Kumanovo – 39, Veles – 32, Prilep – 31, Tetovo – 29, Ohrid – 27, Kichevo – 22, Strumica – 18, Gostivar – 14, Sveti Nikole – 14, Shtip – 13, Gevgelija – 13, Negotino – 11, Kochani – 9, Kriva Palanka – 9, Resen – 8, Radovish – 6, Struga – 5, Debar – 5, Demir Hisar – 3, Delchevo – 2, Berovo – 2, Valandovo – 2, Krushevo – 2, Bogdanci – 1, Kratovo – 1, and Makedonski Brod – 1. According to the e-registry of Covid-related fatalities, two persons died in period July 14-18. At the moment, 3,595 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,102,378 tests, recording 320,598 COVID-19 cases and 307,658 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,345.
