COVID-19: 75 new cases, 94 recoveries, no deaths in past 24 hours
Skopje, 4 October 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia on Tuesday reported 75 new COVID-19 infections, including 23 reinfections, after 745 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, said the Health Ministry, adding there were no deaths in the same period.  According to Public Health Institute data, 94 recoveries were also recorded.  Of the new cases, Skopje registered 52, where the number of active cases is 315. There are 446 active cases recorded nationwide.  According to the e-registry of COVID-19 fatalities, two patients passed away, including one from Skopje (aged 56) and one from Kavadarci (aged 84), in the period September 21 – October 2.   Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,164,862 tests, recording 343,143 COVID-19 cases and 333,158 recoveries. The death toll stands at 9,539.
