COVID-19: 75 new cases, 88 recoveries
Skopje, 2 June 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded 75 new COVID-19 cases after 1,112 tests were performed in the past 24 hours, while 88 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Thursday. Of the new cases, 52 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 8, Berovo – 4, Veles – 3, Ohrid – 2, Prilep – 1, Tetovo – 1, Kavadarci – 1, Shtip – 1, Negotino – 1, and Krushevo – 1. According to the e-registry of Covid-related fatalities, one person from Skopje, aged 86, died on May 31. At the moment, 500 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,057,173 tests, recording 312,097 COVID-19 cases and 302,290 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,307.
