COVID-19: 677 new cases, 517 patients recover, 13 die
Skopje, 9 November 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 677 new COVID-19 infections after 3,317 tests were conducted in labs across the country in the past 24 hours. In the same time period, 13 deaths and 517 recoveries were registered, the Ministry of Health said on Tuesday. Of the new cases, 279 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola-86, Prilep-34, Kumanovo-30, Kavadarci-28, Veles-25, Kochani-22, Delchevo-21, Tetovo-18, Gevgelija-13, Kriva Palanka-12, Radovish-12, Resen-10, Berovo-10, Demir Hisar-9, Kichevo-8, Negotino-8, Gostivar-7, Kratovo-7, Shtip-6, Sveti Nikole-5, Vinica-5, Probishtip-5, Ohrid-3, Valandovo-3, Bogdanci-3, Krushevo-3, Struga-2, Makedonska Kamenica-2, Strumica-1. Of the 13 fatalities, five were registered in Skopje (aged 61, 70, 74, 80 and 86), one in Kochani (83), one in Bitola (79), one in Kumanovo (76), one in Prilep (87), one in Veles (77), one in Probiship (73), one in Demir Hisar (47) and one in Kavadarci (66). At the moment, 8,006 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,412,395 tests, recording 206,910 COVID-19 cases and 191,649 recoveries. The death toll has reached 7,255.
