COVID-19: 617 new cases, 450 patients recover, 32 die
Skopje, 15 September 2021 (MIA) – Over the past 24 hours, North Macedonia registered 617 new COVID-19 cases from 4,621 tests done in the country, 450 patients recovered and 32 people died from coronavirus-related complications, health authorities said on Wednesday. New cases were recorded in Skopje-314, Kumanovo-47, Strumica-29, Shtip-26, Kavadarci-19, Kichevo-19, Ohrid-18, Veles-14, Sveti Nikole-14, Radovish-14, Resen-13, Gostivar-12, Kochani-12, Tetovo-10, Bitola-10, Prilep-8, Struga-8, Kriva Palanka-6, Berovo-5, Probishtip-4, Kratovo-3, Gevgelija-2, Negotino-2, Delchevo-2, Vinica-2, Makedonski Brod-2, Debar-1, Demir Hisar-1. Of the 32 people who died from coronavirus-related complications, 10 died in Skopje (aged 55, 63, 64, 69, 69, 71, 73, 74, 75 and 83), four in Strumica (58, 59, 70 and 82), three in Gostivar (53, 64 and 74), two in Kumanovo (52 and 66), two in Tetovo (78 and 81), one in Prilep (83), one in Kichevo (41), one in Makedonski Brod (40), one in Kavadarci (71), one in Gevgelija (68), one in Probishtip (63), one in Bogdanci (49), one in Ohrid (80), one in Debar (61), one in Struga (86) and one in Valandovo (81). At the moment, 13,027 cases are active nationwide, of which 5,788 in Skopje. Since the onset of the epidemic, a total of 1,234,221 tests have been made, recording 184,893 COVID-19 cases and 165,527 recoveries. The death toll has reached 6,339.
