COVID-19: 606 new cases, 320 patients recover, 7 die
Skopje, 5 November 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 606 new COVID-19 infections after 3,257 tests were conducted in labs across the country in the past 24 hours. In the same time period, 7 deaths and 320 recoveries were registered, the Ministry of Health said on Friday.
Of the new cases, 238 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola-63, Kochani-30, Kavadarci-29, Kumanovo-28, Prilep-28, Shtip-22, Veles-20, Gevgelija-19, Tetovo-15, Negotino-12, Kichevo-11, Ohrid-10, Kriva Palanka-9, Sveti Nikole-7, Berovo-7, Delchevo-7, Probishtip-7, Demir Hisar-7, Gostivar-6, Radovish-6, Kratovo-6, Vinica-5, Strumica-4, Struga-3, Resen-2, Makedonska Kamenica-2, Valandovo-1, Bogdanci-1, Makedonski Brod-1.
Of the 7 fatalities, five were registered in Skopje (aged 69, 71, 79, 81 and 82) and two in Veles (68 and 69).
Three more deaths were recorded from the My Appointment e-service, dated from August 20 through November 4.
At the moment, 7,552 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,400,249 tests, recording 205,022 COVID-19 cases and 190,266 recoveries. The death toll has reached 7,204.
