COVID-19: 57 new cases, 90 recoveries, two die
Skopje, 22 September 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia recorded 57 new COVID-19 cases after 704 tests were performed in the past 24 hours, no deaths were reported, while 90 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Thursday. According to the e-registry of COVID-19 fatalities, two patients (aged 85-60) died in period August 20-September 14. Of the new cases, 39 were registered in Skopje, followed by Veles – 4, Kumanovo – 2, Bitola – 2, Prilep – 2, Tetovo – 2, Kavadarci -1, Negotino – 2, Radovish – 1 and Shtip – 1. At the moment, 624 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,165,180 tests, recording 342,469 COVID-19 cases and 332,319 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,526.
