COVID-19: 550 new cases, 390 patients recover, 12 die
Skopje, 4 November 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 550 new COVID-19 infections after 3,029 tests were conducted in labs across the country in the past 24 hours. In the same time period, 12 deaths and 390 recoveries were registered, the Ministry of Health said on Thursday. Of the new cases, 214 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola-58, Kumanovo-30, Kavadarci-27, Veles-26, Tetovo-23, Shtip-22, Prilep-19, Kochani-18, Kriva Palanka-15, Probishtip-11, Kichevo-9, Strumica-8, Negotino-8, Gevgelija-7, Radovish-7, Kratovo-7, Berovo-6, Krushevo-6, Ohrid-5, Sveti Nikole-5, Delchevo-5, Demir Hisar-5, Valandovo-4, Struga-2, Makedonski Brod-2, Bogdanci-1. Of the 12 fatalities, five were registered in Skopje (aged 31, 70, 70, 87 and 88), two in Kumanovo (75 and 86), one in Veles (64), one in Kriva Palanka (69), one in Strumica (63), one in Kochani (87), and one in Tetovo (85). Four more deaths were recorded from the My Appointment e-service, dated October 25-30. At the moment, 7,275 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,396,992 tests, recording 204,416 COVID-19 cases and 189,947 recoveries. The death toll has reached 7,194.
