Skopje, 29 July 2021 (MIA) — Of the 3,764 people tested for the coronavirus over the past 24 hours, 54 received a positive result, the Ministry of Health said in a press release Thursday. Of the new Covid-19 cases, 16 were diagnosed in Skopje. New cases were also recorded in Tetovo – 9, Bitola and Debar – 6 each, Kumanovo – 5, Kochani – 3, Gostivar and Strumica – 2 each, Prilep, Kavadarci, Ohrid, Radovish and Valandovo – one each. In the past 24 hours, 12 people recovered from the virus: 7 in Skopje, 3 in Tetovo, one in Kochani and one in Gostivar. At the moment, 401 cases are active nationwide, of which 139 in Skopje. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 966,813 tests, recording 156,225 Covid-19 cases and 150,333 recoveries. The death toll has reached 5,491. mr/
