Skopje, 21 October 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 50 new COVID-19 infections after 523 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, 47 patients recovered and no deaths were reported, the Health Ministry said on Friday. Of the new cases, 38 were recorded in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 5, Prilep – 3, Negotino – 2, Ohrid – 1, and Shtip – 1. There are 284 active cases nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,179,652 tests, recording 343,850 COVID-19 cases and 334,007 recoveries. The death toll stands at 9,559.
