COVID-19: 473 new cases, 505 patients recover, 18 die
Skopje, 25 November 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 473 new COVID-19 infections after 2,708 tests were conducted in labs across the country in the past 24 hours. In the same period, 18 deaths, including four registered via the MyAppointment e-service, and 505 recoveries were reported, the Ministry of Health said on Thursday. Of the new cases, 246 were registered in Skopje, followed by Bitola – 41, Kavadarci – 23, Ohrid – 22, Kumanovo – 21, Prilep – 18, Kochani – 13, Veles – 11, Strumica and Gevgelija – 9 each, Valandovo – 7, Berovo – 6, Shtip – 5, Kichevo, Kriva Palanka, Probishtip and Makedonka Kamenica – 4 each, Tetovo, Sveti Nikole, Kratovo and Demir Hisar – 3 each, Gostivar, Struga, Negotino, Resen and Bogdanci – 2 each and Radovish, Delchevo, Krushevo and Makedonski Brod – 1 each. 14 patients died in the past 24 hours. Three deaths were registered in Skopje (aged 68, 84 and 84), two each in Kumanovo (66 and 70) and Bitola (77 and 79) and one each in Tetovo (69), Veles (89), Kavadarci (79), Kriva Palanka (76), Pehchevo (93), Resen (76) and Demir Hisar (82). Four more deaths were recorded from the My Appointment e-service, dated November 9-22. At the moment, 8,289 cases are active nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 1,458,731 tests, recording 213,779 COVID-19 cases and 197,998 recoveries. The death toll has reached 7,492.
